The Five Brothers motor banca was half-submerged when the crew were rescued by personnel of the Coast Guard Station Bohol substation in Loon and Bantay Dagat-Calape at past 8 p.m.

The Coast Guard District Central Visayas said that the motor banca came from Sibonga, Cebu and was headed to Calape when the weather turned bad.

Rough seas submerged the motor banca.

The Coast Guard substation in Sibonga alerted its counterpart in Loon of the stalled boat.

No one was injured during the incident. — Calvin Cordova
