Multi-channel retailer Puregold once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) owners by hosting the highly-anticipated Negosyo Convention 2024. The event, which is taking place at the World Trade Center in Pasay City and runs until today, May 18, welcomed an unprecedented number of over 12,000 members of the Tindahan ni Aling Puring program.
The program, now celebrating its 20th anniversary, has been a cornerstone of Puregold’s efforts to empower MSMEs across the country. Tindahan ni Aling Puring caters to small business owners such as sari-sari stores, karinderyas, bakeries, mini-groceries, food catering services, and other food service enterprises.
“This year we are commemorating significant milestones, because first, we are just four doors away from reaching 500 Puregold stores. And second, because 2024 marks the 20th year of our Tindahan Ni Aling Puring program! Mga Ka-Asenso, dalawampung taon na tayong magkasama sa ‘Always Panalo’ na pagne-negosyo (“Mga Ka-Asenso, we have been together for twenty years in our ‘Always Panalo’ business endeavor), said Susan Co, chairman of Puregold Price Club, Inc.

Several celebrities added to the excitement of the three-day convention, drawing cheers from the thousands in attendance.

Day 2 featured Alden Richards, Joshua Garcia, Joseph Marco, Barbie Forteza, Judy Ann Santos, Sunkissed Lola, Bini, Nik Makino, and Lola Amour.
Finally, today on Day 3,attendees will be treated to appearances by Angelina Cruz, Yassi Pressman, Arra San Agustin, Joshua Garcia, Paulo Avelino, Unique, and Dilaw.
The Negosyo Convention also serves as a platform for Puregold to showcase its dedication to supporting its nearly one million MSME members. The event features more than 120 partner brands, including Monde Nissin, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Universal Robina, Alaska Milk, Century Pacific Food, Coca-Cola Beverages, Colgate-Palmolive, GCash, Nutri-Asia, and Rebisco.
