Miss Universe Philippines (MUPh) made the announcement this week along with the confirmation that Gabbi Garcia and Tim Yap are also joining the star-studded lineup.

This is the first time for Mai to host MUPh. Building on her success from hosting the 71st and 72nd Miss Universe pageants in 2023, MUPh believes Mai’s charismatic will add a layer of sophistication to this year’s show.

Before Miss Universe, Mai became a household name as the host of “America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation” and as the executive Producer of the impactful anti-sex trafficking documentary “Stopping Traffic.” She is also the creative genius behind the travel and lifestyle series “Hello Hunnay;” and the co-host of the Daytime Emmy-winning talk show “The Real” for eight seasons.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Coronation is set on May 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Michelle Dee will crown her successor who will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico later this year.

Lola Amour, the OPM band behind the massive hit “Raining in Manila,” will perform at the coronation night. Thai actor Min Wetamin will also join the event for a performance.
