A ‘Mamamagic’ Day with celeb moms

Star Magic hosted its first ever “Mamamagic Day,” dedicated to honoring the incredible mothers within its family. Held at the Brittany Hotel Villar City in Cavite, the pre-mother’s celebration was a hosted by VJ Ai dela Cruz.

Star Magic mothers Dimples Romana, Vina Morales, Desiree Del Valle, Nikki Valdez, Jolina Magdangal, Dimples Romana, Elisse Joson, Melai Cantiveros, and Janella Salvador illuminated the venue with their presence.

Young and new moms Pamu Pamorada, Hasna Cabral, Mika Pajares, and Riva Quenery, along with their adorable little ones, also joined the celebration.

The evening witnessed soul-stirring performances by the ‘TNT Kids’ Aliyah, Dylan and Kim, together with Klarisse de Guzman.

During the event, Star Magic moms also shared profound insights and pieces of advice emphasizing happiness, discipline, and the importance of self-care to better nurture their families.

Reflecting on her lived experience of motherhood, Dimples Romana declared, “I’d rather have happy kids than successful kids.”

Nikki Valdez said, “Never be sorry or guilty for disciplining your kids… For me, discipline equates to tough love.”

Elisse Joson, meanwhile, gave a poignant reminder to mothers everywhere to prioritize taking care of themselves the way they take care of their families. “We’re still ‘us’ before we became mothers. When we take care of ourselves, we become more present for our family and our children.”

Jolina Magdangal shed light on the magic a mother naturally possesses, saying, “When you become a mommy, you realize you can do things you never thought you could.”

When asked for advice for new moms, Janella Salvador highlighted the value of learning from their children. “I think that’s the best advice I can give — as much as we [moms] love to teach our kids new things, I think it’s a learning process for us as well.”
